Library Services

Multiple copies of books are available for book clubs to check out.

A monthly basket of books delivered to preschool and childcare providers. Email Grace at gmorrison@grinnelliowa.gov for more information.

Classes can come in for 30-minute library tours and information sessions with at least 30-days advance notice.

Use desktop computers with a library card or guest pass. Computers use a Windows-based operating system and connect to the internet. Please see computer use policy for details.

Display cases available for the public display of government, civic, cultural exhibits, or educational materials.

The library provides material delivery to homebound Grinnell residents

Use your library card to get a free pass to the Blank Park Zoo or Science Center of Des Moines.

Library meeting rooms are available for educational, informational, or cultural meetings during the hours the library is open. Meetings must be free of charge and open to the public. Admission fees, donations, or other fees may not be charged or solicited. Meeting rooms are not available for fundraising, selling merchandise or services, soliciting for later sales, or placing orders.

Free public notary services available.

The library offers convenient printing, scanning, copying, and faxing services for public use.

Teens can get personalized book recommendations.

Our librarians are happy to answer general questions via this form.

If we don't have what you're looking for, fill out the Item Request Form. We may be able to borrow the item from another library or even purchase it.
